Brent Bernasconi, a born and raised San Diegan, doesn't know how to surf. He barely knows how to boogie board. Even with these serious limitations, Brent still enjoys the beach and continues to call San Diego his home.
Even though Brent flounders in the water, he does enjoy running, cycling, craft beer, traveling (someday), amateur photography, snagging the occasional child-free nap with his wife, playing LEGOs with his son and making silly faces to garner a smile from his daughter.
When he needs a break from the familial life, he spends his weekdays at the San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA). Monday-Friday, he promotes San Diego as the premiere family and/or FIT travel destination to domestic and international markets. To accomplish this, he manages international social media agencies, oversees SDTA's domestic social media program of work, provides editorial direction for SanDiego.org and San Diego Travel Blog, and executes SDTA's B2C email program.Check out his resume
Outside of his regular gig, he runs his own website/social media/email consulting firm, Skypotato Productions. He has worked with authors, restaurants, tour companies and even an astronaut.
